To set up Outlook 2010 to work with Gmail / Google Business Apps:
Enable POP in Gmail / Google Business Apps:
Select Enable POP for all mail or Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on.
Go to the File Tab, click the Info button and select Account Settings.

Click on the NEW button.

- Enter your Full Name
- Enter your E-Mail Address
- Enter your Password
- Retype your Password
- Place a Check Mark in the box "Manually configure server settings or additional server types"

Under User Information:
- Enter your Full Name
- Enter your E-Mail Address
Under Server Information:
- Change the Account Type to: POP3
- In the (Incoming Mail Server) box enter: pop.gmail.com
- In the (Outgoing Mail Server SMTP) box enter: smtp.gmail.com
Under Logon Information:
- In the (User Name) box enter: YOUR FULL E-MAIL ADDRESS
- In the (password) box enter: Your Password
- Place a Check Mark in the box (Remember Password)
- Click on the More Settings button

- Click on the Outgoing Server Tab
- Place a check mark in the box "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
- Place a dot on "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"
- Click on the Advance Tab

- In the (Incoming server POP3) box enter: 995
- In the (Outgoing server SMTP) box enter: 587
- Place a check mark in the box (This server requires an encrypted connection SSL)
- In the box (Use the following type of encrypted connection:) use the pull down menu and select: TLS
- Click OK

If the above setting DOES NOT WORK!.....Use these settings.
- In the (Incoming server POP3) box enter: 995
- In the (Outgoing server SMTP) box enter: 486
- Place a check mark in the box (This server requires an encrypted connection SSL)
- In the box (Use the following type of encrypted connection:) use the pull down menu and select: SSL
- Click OK

- Click Click Test Account Settings
After receiving 'Congratulations! All tests completed successfully', click Close. If you receive any error messages, double-check your settings. If this still has not cleared the problem up, please contact us at 866-340-5652 or techteam@emochila.com.
Click Finish and you are done!
