How Your Clients Can UploadFiles

1. Click on the Client Accounts Button of your Website.   If you have already created a username/password, or your accountant has created one for you, enter it into the fields.   If you have not yet created an account, please click on "Register new account."

2. Please enter all fields accordingly.   For your username and password, please enter as unique an entry as possible.   If your username or password is already in use by another client, you will be prompted to enter the information again.   When you have finished entering the information, accept the Usage Agreement and click "Submit."

3. Click on "Login."

(Note:   This is where you will begin if you already had a username/password from the Client Accounts button on your accountant's site.   Moving forward, remember the username/password you just created for future use).

4. Here, you may either enter your pertinent tax information into the online tax organizer, or you may upload/download documents for your accountant.  Click on "Click Here to go to your File Locker."

5. Here you will see five "slots" where you may upload a file for your accountant.   Click on "Browse" and you may browse your hard drive for your file.   Here, we are uploading a file called sample.xls

6. When you have clicked "Open," the file will appear in the chosen "slot."   Now, Click on "Upload" to upload and encrypt the file.

7. Do not stop or interrupt the transaction until the file has been successfully uploaded as this will result in an error message.   Depending on the size of the file, upload times may vary.   In the event of a corrupted file (usually arises from a blip in an internet connection) simple click on "Go Back" and try again.   You will know that the transfer is complete when you see the following window:

8. When you "Click here to go back to your file locker, you will see that your file now appears in the appropriate "slot."
